Dreamin’ Blues

I looked up from my guitar
and there was T-Bone Walker
sitting on a chair
in front of me,
dressed real sharp,
guitar almost
flat on his lap
in that strange way
of playing he had
and he said
'No, no, no—
like this…'
and reached out
and touched me
and it was.
